in the past 50 years there is a rapid devlopment in Hyderbad along with major cities vijayawada,Vishakapatnam,Guntur Kakinada and Rajamundry.
Andhra(Rayalaseema and andhra) was separated from Madras state after death of Legend Sri Potti Sreeramulu garu On the midnight of 15 December (i.e. early 16 December 1952).In his death procession, people shouted slogans praising his sacrifice. When the procession reached Mount Road, thousands of people joined and raised slogans hailing Sriramulu.Agitations went on through out andra region(andhra(A) and rayalaseema(R)) in ungraceful manner after the death of the Legend. Seven people were killed in police firing in Anakapalle and Vijayawada. The popular agitation continued for three to four days disrupting normal life in Madras and Andhra regions. On 19 December, the Prime minister of the country Jawaharlal Nehru made an announcement about formation of a separate Andhra state.
On 1 October 1953, the state of Andhra was established with Kurnool as capital carving it out from Madras State. However, the Telugu speaking Telangana was part of Hyderabad state until 1956.
After Andhra(A & R)forming a separate state it faced many problems, it was the only state in india which was not in a position to construct atleast a small assembly. With a great effort a high court is constructed in guntur and state assembly used to run in high court itself.The state faced a severe problem of pigs(animal) which are taking away, govt files and papers...govt sanctioned a special budget for eradication of pigs.Apart from these problems andhra faced makor problem of agriculture, electricity and water as there are no natural major rivers flowing in andhra state..once there was major floods in south india which lead to damage of Highcourt of andhra where assembly and govt offices used to run.Due to this floods disaster andhra state continued its govt activities from madras state with special permission of Central govt. for about 6 months.
Andhra state which consisted of coastal andhra and rayalaseema regions were in desparate need of a capital city this is what Andhra state heads said in 1950s
Tanguturi Prakasham(CM of Andhra state): "If Hyderabad comes and joins us, then all our problems will be resolved, we should now think about the possibilities of achieving it" 1953 June.
Neelam Sanjeeva Reddy: "We do not have any place which is capable of holding Capital City resources"
“We have faced lot of problems in the last 2 years. If we wait for another 5 years as proposed by Fazal Ali commission then we could be facing serious problems”. 1956 February 3rd.
Kadapa Koti Reddy - "We do not have a place to put-up Capital City, not even a place to setup District head quarters" – 1953 march 13th

“This will also solve the difficult and vexing problem of finding a permanent capital for Andhra, for the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad are very well suited to be the capital of Vishalandhra”. (SRC Report: para 371)
So do these things look like ANdhra state was in a desperate need ? or does it look Kurnool was sacrificed for Hyd?
So did Andhra State pay the compensation to Telangana for using ready-made capital Hyderabad (400 years of tax from the feudal Telangana )for their capital city resources?
Was the 400 years of telangana tax (atleast 10%) recovered from Andhra State? who was at loss?
